There is now a specific status for student-entrepreneurs or self-employed students. This means that young people combining education with entrepreneurship can continue to be dependent on their parents for tax purposes. These student-entrepreneurs must be aged between 18 and 25 and be enrolled in courses delivered by an educational establishment with a view to obtaining a diploma recognised by the competent authorities.
