Sandro starts by highlighting the background of AI, explaining that generative AI is a subset of artificial intelligence, which has been around for a long time, primarily impacting the B2B market in specific verticals such as manufacturing and automotive.

According to Sandro, generative AI will impact all industries and, within organizations, it will affect all departments. This widespread influence is largely due to the massive uptake following the launch of ChatGPT, which significantly boosted the visibility and adoption of generative AI technologies.

Sandro also highlights several challenges organizations face when deploying generative AI. These include a lack of resources, such as specialized developers who can write AI algorithms, an absence of a data strategy that enables the exploitation of datasets, and the lack of flexibly designed data platforms to support the implementation of generative AI.

To address these challenges, Sandro illustrates how Proximus NXT assists customers with their generative AI projects.
