Proximus continues to support the Ukrainian people

Since the beginning of the war, we have made mobile and landline calls, as well as text messages, to and from Ukraine free of charge for our Postpaid customers. This will be the case until the end of 2024. Customers who are in Ukraine (roaming) can also communicate free of charge.

Since 28/04 Proximus applies lower costs for its Prepaid customers for communications to Ukraine (0,20€/min and 0,12€/sms).

We have also witnessed many outpourings of solidarity where families have volunteered to host Ukrainian refugees. We want to ensure that connectivity is not a barrier when families are hosting these people in their homes, by removing the Wi-Fi data limit for them and switching them to unlimited Wi-Fi, for our Internet clients that don’t have Pack where internet is already unlimited.

Since the beginning of the conflict, we have been committed to helping Ukrainian refugees in Belgium by meeting their telecommunication needs. But we realized we could do more. That is why we will soon welcome several families in five of our empty buildings. These five caretaker homes were previously used as living quarters for our technical buildings, which required a permanent presence. They are in the final phase of renovation. Local CPASs will be able to accommodate one large family or two small families per house.
